I can't get e-mail The first option is to check the settings on Outlook Express. Open Outlook Express. Click Tools on the top menu. Click Accounts. In the Internet Accounts window click the Mail tab. Highlight the ctcweb mail account and click the Properties button. Verify that the user information is correct(the Name and E-mail address). Re-enter your e-mail address. Click Apply. Click the Servers tab. Incoming(POP3) should be pop.ctcweb.net and outgoing (SMTP) should be smtp.ctcweb.net. Very that the account name (username) is correct. Re-enter the password. Click Apply. Click the Connection tab. The setting here should be "Connect to this account using CTC." If you are on a network it will say LAN(Local Area Network). Click OK. Close Internet Accounts. Close Outlook Express. Click Start and Shutdow. Select Restart. Once the computer restarts, try to retrieve e-mail. |
